Zander's signature "X Fashion" dates as far back as the summer of 2010 when he worked with YouTube personality spricket24 Karen Alloy; to the fall when he flew to NYC and body painted at NY Fashion Week and in Central Park; to the X Fashion Show that he produced and Norell co-produced at Rouge (formerly The Lounge) Nightclub in Minneapolis, MN.
Some of our photography from the Edible Art Series featured at an exhibit at FIMA in Montreal 2011, along with celebrity fashion designer Emre Erturk, and fine artist Gülay Alpay.

This was X Fashion on the streets of Minneapolis during Twin Cities Pride 2011.
Many people stopped to watch, inquire, or just to say hello.

X Fashion in Central Park with Tessa.
Zander worked with this amazing model during NY Fashion Week 2011. He painted Tessa at the entrance of the Nexus Loves Candy fashion show Brad Baker invited him to. When he finished painting her, he stripped to his underwear and they mingled with guests who attended the fashion show and after party. The next day they created this image together. We had been planning the X Fashion Show for weeks, then we met Karen Alloy and made her our star model for the show.
We worked with her for a promo, and other shoots under vw|NK Agency.Promotional shoot for the X Fashion Show.

X Fashion was a fusion of body painting, fashion, runway, dance, and what is known as "sploshing", but as we like to call Edible Art.
Edible Art is X Fashion.
The models grabbed Zander, stripped him of his clothes, and covered him in marshmellow cream and hershey's kisses for a live surprise performance of Edible Art at X Fashion.
That was after they ripped each other's tin foil constructed fashion elements to pieces.
